Endorsed Candidates
The AFSCME Region I PEOPLE Committee comprised of AFSCME local union and retiree sub-chapter leaders in Chicago and the surrounding area has made endorsements in aldermanic and city-wide contests. Volunteer with AFSCME to help pro-worker candidates win on Election Day.
Voter Registration
- Traditional and online voter registration in the City of Chicago.
- "Grace Period" Registration is an extension of the period of time for a voter to register to vote, or to update their registration information. It extends registration from the normal close of registration until Election Day. When using "Grace Period" registration, the voter must immediately vote during the same visit.
- Vote early at a time convenient to you.
- Vote by mail or absentee ballot.
- Find your polling place.
