Copy of Pension-cutting bill still looms
SB 16, a bill to cut the pensions of active employees in the SERS and SURS pension systems, was rushed to a vote on the Senate floor on Feb. 28. While it failed to pass, it was put on postponed consideration and will likely be called again soon.
