Resources for Stewards
Stewards are the official representatives of our union in the workplace. They explain the contract to members, file and present grievances to management, and identify and resolve workplace problems. Working side-by-side with the people they help, stewards are often the first person a member goes to when they have a concern or grievance at the workplace. Local union stewards are the glue that holds our union together.
Here are some resources to help you do your job. Interested in becoming a steward? Ask your local union officers how you can step up.
