Greetings Local 3863 members:

Contract Negotiations Update:

Our union bargaining team (Kelly Turnage, Glendora Brown, Wendy Nwosu, Roscolitta Owens and Deidre Stallworth, and our Staff Representative Carla Williams) met with Orchard Village’s bargaining team (Olga Childers, Kasey Ornelas, Lyndsay Mosser, Mandy Adams, Laura Massironi, and their attorneys Christina Wernick and Rachel Clark) on June 26, July 25 and 28th.

Thanks to everyone who took the time to fill out our survey on holidays. It helped our bargaining team decide how to respond at the bargaining table. While we continue to make progress at the bargaining table on issues such as Discipline, Grievance Procedure, Insurance and Retirement Benefits, we are still far apart on wages.  

The Employer has not offered to wage increases that include all of the money that WE successfully lobbied the General Assembly to allocate in their budget. You work hard and make the Orchard Village clients’ lives better.
