AFSCME PEOPLE Endorsements: March 17 Primary Election

When we stand together, we have the power to win on the job and protect public services.
When we vote together, we have the power to elect leaders who value public services and will stand up for working people.
These endorsements are made by local union leaders after interviewing the candidates and examining their records on the issues that matter to us.
Here are some key dates and resources to help you make your plan to vote in the March primary election.
- Election Day is Tuesday, March 17. Early voting begins on Feb. 5 in most counties (Chicago early voting begins Feb. 12).
- Requests for mail-in ballots must be received by Feb. 17. Click here to request a mail-in ballot.
- You can register to vote online until March 1 or you can get registered at your polling place any time up to and including Election Day.

The endorsements of county-level candidates below have been finalized by the Area PEOPLE Committees, comprised of rank-and-file AFSCME members in those counties. Endorsements in state legislative and congressional races will be added following final approval by the PEOPLE Executive Committee and delegates to the PEOPLE Conference, respectively.
